Formula DRIFT Round 5: Crossroads will be held at the World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis, Missouri, from July 18-20, 2024.

This event marks the midpoint of the 2024 Formula DRIFT season as the top drivers battle for crucial championship points. The three-day event will feature PRO and PROSPEC, with practice sessions, seeding brackets, qualifying, and battles.

Here are the top 10 drivers we head into Round 5:

James Deane (354 points)
Aurimas “Odi” Bakchis (280 points)
Fredric Aasbo (240 points)
Simen Olsen (238 points)
Ken Gushi (196 points)
Branden Sorensen (196 points)
Hiroya Minowa (196 points)
Matt Field (196 points)
Adam LZ (182 points)
Dylan Hughes (182 points)

As you can see, James Deane is dominating the 2024 season so far, but several drivers could easily catch him up with 100 points up for grabs. Further down, the competition remains tight, especially in the middle of the pack, with several drivers tied on points.

Japan’s Hiroya Minowa, currently in 7th place, leads leading the rookie standings with 196 points. However, Ireland’s rookie, Conor Shanahan, currently in 13th with 170 points, will undoubtedly be looking to play catch-up after a series of unfortunate events provided a difficult start to his first Formula DRIFT season.
