You’ll get behind the wheel of high-performance rear-wheel-drive supercars, where you’ll master the art of sliding to unlock your favorite rides.

The aim is to earn points by showing off your drifting skills across various challenging tracks, with each successful drift bringing you closer to unlocking the new cars and tracks.

The Ado Cars Drifter 2 controls are super simple, so you don’t need to worry about remembering too many buttons.

You can choose between the arrows or WASD layouts:

W/Up arrow – Accelerate
S/Down arrow – Brake/reverse
A/Left arrow – Turn left
D/Right arrow – Turn right
Space – E-brake

How To Play Ado Cars Drifter 2

First, we recommend tweaking the graphics to the highest level your computer can handle. You can do this by heading to ‘SETTINGS’ from the main menu. There are six graphics quality levels, from ‘Fastest’ for basic performance to ‘Fantastic’ for higher-end devices.

Then, return to the main menu, hit ‘PLAY,’ and choose your starting track. New players will begin in the container yard, with additional tracks unlocking as you progress.

As you can see here, I’ve reached Level 10, which has now unlocked the Racetrack, but I still have some progress until I can unlock the Touge at Level 14.

When earning maximum points, the game’s scoring system rewards long, high-speed drifts while punishing crashes and straightening out. Your level progress appears in the top right corner, while a timer in the top left shows your remaining time.

While you might be used to combos in drifting games, Ado Cars does things a little differently, where you’re judged by each slide individually.

You can also track your overall progress through the ‘ACHIEVEMENTS’ menu, which displays completed objectives and upcoming unlocks, with completed tasks in green.

These techniques will help you maximize your drift scores and level up faster to unlock all the cars and tracks in no time.

Start with the basics by learning car control at lower speeds. The game encourages BIG angle drifting, which takes some getting used to, and understanding how the weight transfer works will help you earn massive points.
The e-brake can be handy for initiating drifts when you’re getting started. Tap the spacebar briefly, but avoid holding it too long, as this kills momentum, which you’ll soon learn is important in this game.
Focus on maintaining long, controlled drifts rather than quick transitions since there’s no combo.

Instead of aiming for massive angles, maintain moderate steering angles for better control to earn the most points – while extreme angles are fun and look impressive, they often lead to spins and lost points.

Counter-steering is crucial for optimal control. As your car begins to slide, turn into the direction you want to go while managing throttle input. This balance keeps you sliding without spinning.
For high scores, target sweeping corners where you can maintain extended drifts, balancing the car’s angle and power. Enter corners with good speed but prioritize control – a controlled drift always scores better than a crash!
