After over five years of Drift Boss dominating the free browser drift gaming scene, MarketJS drops an exciting new follow-up for 2025 – Drift Donut!

This brand-new release takes what made the original great and adds a fresh twist. Instead of tackling the zig-zag track from Drift Boss, you’ll now push your drifting skills to the limit on a donut-shaped platform.

The goal? You guessed it – you’ll need to prove your drifting skills without falling off.

Drift Donut keeps the same one-click controls that made the original so popular, making it super easy to pick up and play for a quick drift fix.

Don’t be fooled by the cute cartoon graphics, though. Drift Donut is even harder than its predecessor, and staying on track while drifting in circles is harder than expected. But hey, what fun would it be if it was too easy?!

As you probably guessed, there are still no in-depth tuning features or anything like you’d find in other popular free online drifting games like Drift Hunters or Drift Hunters MAX. Still, it’s a perfect time burner when you only have a few minutes to spare and want to make the most of the daily rewards!

How To Play Drift Donut

Just like Drift Boss, your chosen vehicle drives itself at full throttle, and there’s no way of braking!

Once you start the game, you’re thrown straight into the action, with your first 360-degree slide fast approaching.

Drift Donut Controls

Playing couldn’t be simpler – all you need is one button:

• PC – Tap/hold the left mouse button or spacebar
• Mobile – Tap/hold your screen

To drift right, hold the button down. Let go, and you’ll automatically drift left.

Want to drive straight? You’re out of luck, but rapid tapping will get you as close as possible!

Getting Started

Press the button and use a careful mix of tapping and holding to keep your car on track. Sounds simple enough, right?! Well, just wait until you see what’s coming.

As you progress, you’ll need to show off your best drifting abilities while tackling increasingly difficult challenges.

Over time, you’re presented with everything from narrowing tracks and multiple back-to-back speed bumps to surprise oil spills that repeatedly test your reflexes and control when you least expect them!

Drift Donut Tips & Tricks

Once you’ve got the basics nailed, these tips and tricks will help you master the game.

Mastering The Basics

• Always look one step ahead and time your slides carefully
• Stay near the inside of the ‘donut’ whenever possible, but not TOO close – this gives you more room for error when the speedbumps and oil spills throw a curveball
• Prioritize staying on track over collecting coins – your life is worth more than a few extra points! There’ll be more to collect, don’t worry.

Reading The Track

• Play a close eye on the small previews of upcoming obstacles at the start of each new level
• Avoid oil spills at all costs, and learn how to control your vehicle over the speed bumps
• Some levels start with oil on the track straight away, so be ready to slide immediately after the countdown

Handling Oil Spills

• Prepare to counter-steer as soon as you hit an oil spill
• Oil patches spin you 360 degrees, so when you can’t avoid them, try to plan accordingly
• Position yourself with enough space to leave room for error – they’re trickier than they seem, especially if you get a speed bump immediately after being spun out!

Maximizing Progress

• Choose your vehicle upgrades wisely – surprisingly, bigger vehicles stay on track more easily due to their size, while smaller cars offer superior handling
• Keep your eye out for daily objectives to earn as many bonus coins and cards as possible
• Keep checking back for mini-games you can play between sessions – some refresh every minute with new rewards

Drift Donut Rewards & Bonuses Explained

Drift Donut offers plenty of ways to earn coins and cards outside the main game, which will again feel familiar to Drift Boss players.

There are 30 unique rides to unlock, and there’s no lack of variety! Learning how to make the most of these reward bonuses is the quickest way to unlock them, and they can all be found below the ‘Play’ button on the main menu.

Daily Rewards

• Login rewards increase each day you come back to play

Lootboxes

• Basic Loot refreshes every minute, giving you one free card
• Watch optional videos to claim Premium Loot, which provides 10 cards at once

My Collection

• This is your hub for viewing all cards earned from Lootboxes, showing the various vehicles (and characters) that can be unlocked
• Track your progress as each card brings you closer to unlocking new rides
• Head to ‘Vehicle Selection’ to check which level you need to unlock your favorite rides

Minigames

There are five minigames, and you can play each game once every 24 hours.

Guess The Number

• Classic higher/lower game
• You’ll get a reward for correctly guessing the number, with unlimited attempts

Match The Cards

• Find identical pairs from face-down cards
• Use your attempts wisely – you only get limited chances
• Reward after completion

Simon Says

• Another old-school game where you need to follow the pattern sequence as it flashes on your screen
• Reward after Level 3

Maze Challenge

• Navigate through straightforward mazes using your keyboard or touchscreen
• Reward when you get to the target

Burnout Blitz

• Earn loads of points and cards through this exclusive new mode
• A mix of free and optional video rewards
• Keep checking back for regular refreshes

Achievements

• Watch for pop-up achievements in the bottom right during gameplay
• Claim rewards ranging from small bonuses to massive payouts
• Special challenges like ‘DRIFT GOD’ eventually offer up to 1,900 coin rewards!
