Drift Escape
Drift Escape Summary
Whether you’re new to drifting games or a seasoned pro, you’ll undoubtedly have a blast evading the cops, sending the patrol cars crashing into buildings or plunging into the ocean.

How To Play Drift Escape
The game starts with a simple tutorial showing you the basics. After that, you’re on your own, but that’s where the real fun begins.
It’s super easy to get the hang of, so you can jump in and start having fun right away. However, if you want to become the city’s best getaway driver, you’ll need to showcase your best drift skills. Of course, that starts with choosing your ride.
Vehicle Selection
Eight cars are in the garage, ranging from a basic beater to a high-end supercar. There’s even a riot truck once you’ve racked up enough cash!
When choosing the ideal vehicle, you’ll need to consider their ratings:
- Speed – How quickly you can outrun the cops
- Health – How much damage you can take (or create) before it’s game over
Unsurprisingly, the riot truck is the toughest ride on offer, with an impressive 90 ‘Health’ (strength) score. However, at 5000 coins, it’s not cheap. Thankfully, it’s not a slouch either with its 32 ‘Speed’ rating, which also lets you leave plenty of cop cars in your dust.
Alternatively, if you’ve got the skills to evade the cops without needing to worry about getting hit, the fastest Porsche-lookalike supercar has a 38 ‘Speed’ rating and a surprisingly good ‘Health’ (strength) score of 80, and just half the price of the riot truck.
However, if you want to skip the grind, most cars can be unlocked by watching a few seconds of ads. The riot truck, however, requires good old-fashioned coin saving.
Drift Escape Game Modes
There are two game modes on offer.
Challenge Mode
Hit ‘Play’ in the bottom left of the main menu to tackle increasingly challenging police pursuits.
As you progress, you’ll face more cops with better vehicles – including their own riot vans! Keep an eye on the pursuit meter in the top right to track how many officers are on your tail.
Endless Mode
This is where things get wild. The longer you survive, the more cops join the chase.
Watch your wanted level climb through a GTA-style star system. Hit five stars, and you’re America’s Most Wanted, and you better hope you’ve refined those drifting skills! One wrong move means twisted metal and game over.
Once you’ve set a high score you’re proud of, make sure you challenge your friends to beat it!
Drift Escape Hacks, Tips & Tricks
While keeping the accelerator pedal to the metal is tempting, sometimes controlled driving will work better than pure speed. The AI police aren’t the most talented drivers in the land, so use this to your advantage!
Try this sneaky trick in Challenge mode – drive back and forth near the platform edges. The cops will often overshoot and head for an unexpected swim!
However, be careful, or you’ll be the one plunging into the ocean instead!
If you’re in Endless mode, you can also use buildings and obstacles to create chaos – there’s nothing more satisfying than watching three patrol cars pile into each other.
Your choice of car matters more than you might think. If you’re still learning the ropes, grab something with high health – you’ll appreciate the extra durability when things get messy. Confident in your drift skills? Go for speed and leave those cops in your dust.
Once you hit that five-star wanted level, you’ll need every trick you’ve learned. Keep moving and watch your surroundings – even the mighty riot truck won’t survive getting boxed in. Remember: a damaged police car is the perfect target for a tactical ram, but take on too many fresh ones, and you’ll be visiting the scrapyard!
Once you get tired of trying to evade the cops, why not try Drift Hunters MAX? With cross-platform saving between mobile and browser, AI traffic to dodge, and tons of cars to unlock and tune, it’s the perfect next step in your drifting journey.
