Drift King Summary

Drift King delivers an awesome free-to-play multiplayer experience that stands out among browser-based drifting games thanks to its stunning graphics and realistic physics.

Drift King Features

The game offers comprehensive tuning options, allowing you to modify and tweak everything from engine performance to suspension geometry.

You can upgrade vital components like the engine, turbo, and gearbox on all your cars while having the option to reduce weight and improve the handling characteristics.

That’s not all – you can even adjust the brake pressure and suspension settings for the perfect drift setup.

Six maps provide a selection of exciting driving environments. Whether you prefer technical racetracks or twisty touge mountain roads, each location offers unique challenges for mastering your drift technique.

Once you’ve refined your skills, you can head to the multiplayer mode, where you can create custom rooms to shred tires with your friends or make new ones in the public lobbies!

Drift King Car Selection

You’re gifted an Audi TT from the start, but if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, the 30,000 starting credits you’re gifted will allow you to unlock some incredible cars right away, from the Lamborghini Countach…

… To the Ford GT.

Unfortunately, despite the “Drift King” name, there’s no Toyota AE86 Trueno in the garage – the real-world Drift King, Keiichi Tsuchiya, would be devastated!

Since nobody wants to rep those hideous steel wheels on their drift car, let’s look at the tuning menu, where you can tweak and customize your ride.

Drift King Tuning Setup

From the game’s main menu, if you click ‘GARAGE,’ you’ll immediately be taken to your tuning workshop, where you can carry out a selection of upgrades and customize your ride.

You’ll have an Audi TT when you start, but you have enough cash to carry out plenty of mods and upgrades.

If you head to the ‘UPGRADES’ menu, each stage costs the price listed, with four tuning stages for each. Thankfully, even as you go up through the tuning stages, the prices don’t increase, so you can quickly build the ultimate drift tune. With all the upgrades, here’s our fully prepped GR Supra drift weapon.

However, for now, you’ll still need to focus on your Audi TT, but since you’re given a generous 30,000 credits from the start, you’ll be surprised how much you can afford right away.

You can also have some completely free fun in the ‘TUNING’ menu, where you can adjust various aspects such as Ride Height and Camber.

If you’re looking to build a budget drift car, you can even give those ugly steels a lick of paint for just 150 coins…

Or you can consider a fresh new set of rims for 2000. It’s entirely up to you!

Drift King Track List

Once your car is prepped for some sideways action, whether you want to head to the free-roam mountain roads or the racetrack, Drift King has something for everyone.

One thing that makes the game truly unique is that even if you head to the track, you still get complete free roam to browse the whole circuit or run it in reverse if you wish!

From the paddock/pit area to the garages and workshops around the track, nowhere is out of bounds! This is perfect if you want to have fun and explore with your friends in the Multiplayer mode.

Heading To The Track (Or Touge)

Although free roam doesn’t include the AI traffic you find in games like Drift Hunters MAX, the Multiplayer aspect makes up for this.

Thankfully, it does have score combos like Drift Hunters, which means you can quickly build up your in-game cash. Before you know it, you’ll be able to unlock all the cars and tracks in the game.

If your friends aren’t online, or you simply want to play around and improve your skills, Single Player gives you unlimited free roam with no time limits to worry about. You can shred your tires for as long as you want.

It’s a good time to play around with the Drift King’s fantastic camera angles, which are much more varied than most browser games.

You can even get an action cam that follows you around the circuit from afar…

But be careful, as it can be difficult to avoid crashing… Whoops!
