Drift Masters 2025 Calendar – Events & Dates
Drift Masters announces its most ambitious season yet for 2025 with seven rounds across Europe, including new venues and the return of fan favorites.
Europe’s premier drifting championship will evolve again in 2025 as the Drift Masters Grand Prix (DMGP) unveils its most ambitious calendar yet. The series, which has transformed from a three-round competition over the past decade, will feature seven rounds for the first time in its 11-year history.
If you’re wondering just how good Drift Masters has become, it’s worth noting that even though Formula DRIFT called them to America for the 2024 season, Irish champions James Deane and Conor Shanahan still couldn’t resist the temptation to remain in the European series.
The championship even caught the attention of Adam LZ, who built a lightweight BMW E36 specifically for DMGP and crossed the Atlantic for all but one round, making history in the process. New Zealand’s rotary drifting legend, Mad Mike, also couldn’t help but join the action for the season finale.
Although rumors continue circulating about more international drivers joining the grid in 2025, let’s focus on what we know for certain – the confirmed Drift Masters calendar for the upcoming season!

Round 1 – Rome, Italy – 25-26 April 2025
Drift Masters kicks off its historic first-ever seven-round season at Vallelunga Race Track, which also marks the championship’s first-ever event in Italy.
Located in the hills just north of Rome, this iconic venue, surrounded by a classic Mediterranean landscape, provides a stunning backdrop for the series’ Italian debut.
Since the 1950s, the circuit has evolved to become one of Italy’s most impressive motorsport facilities. Its proximity to Rome also ensures easy access for fans traveling across Europe.
Vallelunga promises to deliver an exciting start to Drift Masters’ most ambitious season yet. Having hosted the inaugural FIA Motorsport Games in 2019, this historic venue appears fitting for Drift Masters’ Italian debut.
Round 2 – Madrid, Spain – 17-18 May 2025
For the second round, Drift Masters will travel to another new location for the series: Circuito de Madrid Jarama-RACE in San Sebastián de los Reyes, just north of Madrid. The venue opened in 1967 as Spain’s first permanent racing circuit, bringing decades of motorsport heritage to the championship.
Designed by the same architect who designed Suzuka Circuit, Jarama’s technical layout features challenging elevation changes and banked corners, which should provide challenges for the drivers.
The venue’s rich history includes hosting nine Formula One Spanish Grand Prix events between 1968 and 1981 and numerous motorcycle Grand Prix races.
Round 3 – Alahärmä, Finland – 6-7 June 2025
PowerPark Huvivaltio returns to the calendar, bringing drift action to Finland’s largest theme park. The unique venue, which joined the series in 2023, brings a surreal backdrop of rollercoasters and attractions. It’s certainly a different way to watch the action!
The Mika Salo Circuit, a custom-built drift track nestled within the theme park grounds, has quickly become notorious for its challenging layout. Finnish fans have consistently proven their passion for drifting, with previous events selling out in record time and creating an incredible atmosphere.
Despite the excitement of its return, its positioning in the calendar for this year has raised some eyebrows, creating logistical challenges by lying between Spain and Ireland. Despite the excitement of the round on home turf, Finnish drivers, in particular, face a crazy long journey to the other rounds.
If they wish to travel from Finland, head back home between Spain and Ireland, and then return to Finland, the total journey will be over 14,500 km (9,000 miles!)
While the venue remains a fan favorite, having a calendar shuffle would have made more geographical sense for the teams. Despite this, the unique atmosphere and location make PowerPark one of the series’ most anticipated rounds.
Round 4 – Kildare, Ireland – 28-29 June 2025
Of course, the series returns to its spiritual home as Mondello Park hosts the championship’s halfway point. Ireland’s only permanent racing circuit has been the backdrop for some of the most memorable moments in the series’ history, with its layout providing the perfect stage for close battles.
The atmosphere at Mondello is unlike anywhere else on the calendar, as passionate Irish fans pack the grandstands and banking. With many of the series’ top competitors hailing from the Emerald Isle, the Irish round consistently delivers some of the most exciting battles of the season.
Since opening its doors in 1968, Mondello Park has become the cornerstone of Irish motorsport. For the ever-growing list of Irish drivers, there’s nothing quite like performing in front of their home crowd, making Mondello Park an unmissable stop on the calendar.
Round 5 – Riga, Latvia – 25-26 July 2025
The legendary Bikernieku Trase makes yet another appearance to host Round 5 in Latvia’s capital. Veterans of the sport will fondly remember this venue’s infamous “Riga Baby” reputation from the Drift Allstars era, and it continues to be one of the most challenging stops on the calendar.
Known for its pre-event street party, unforgiving high-speed entry, and concrete walls, Bikernieki draws drift fans from across the Baltic region. The track’s demanding layout has created some of the most dramatic moments in European drifting history, making it a fitting venue for the crucial late-season battle.
Round 6 – Dessau, Germany – 14-16 August 2025
After its lack of appearance in the 2024 calendar, Drift Masters returns to the spectacular Ferropolis for a unique three-day drifting festival alongside the “Iron Drift King” event.
Known as “The City of Iron,” this crazy venue transforms a former mining site into one of drifting’s most dramatic arenas, with giant industrial excavators surrounding the custom-built track.
The 14,000-square-meter temporary circuit, built to Formula 1 safety standards, features high-speed entries reaching up to 130 km/h. As the event continues into the night, the floodlit battles against the backdrop of the giant mining machines create an atmosphere unlike anything else in motorsport.
This penultimate round of the championship also brings behind-the-scenes car shows, camping areas, and night battles in a festival that has made Iron Drift King legendary among European drift fans.
Round 7 (Grand Finale) – Warsaw, Poland – 12-13 September 2025
The spectacular PGE Narodowy stadium will be transformed once again for Drift Masters’ grand finale in 2025, where the drivers will battle on a custom-built track within this 55,000-seat colosseum.
After last year’s dramatic conclusion, which saw Duane McKeever take the event win while Lauri Heinonen secured the championship title, expectations are sky-high for another unforgettable weekend.
The unique figure-eight layout returns surrounded by unforgiving concrete barriers that demand absolute precision from drivers. While the 2024 event saw some controversy with track wetting for justified safety reasons, the crowds will undoubtedly hope to experience the tire-shredding smoke show again in 2025.
Poland’s national stadium is the perfect location to crown the 2025 European champion in front of drifting’s largest live audience.
