EVENT: Prestigio EEDC 2014 Round 4: Mariapocs, Hungary
It has become a good tradition to run Prestigio EEDC Round four at Trackwood Festival in Hungary. This festival is very popular and gathered more than 3,000 spectators. Sunny summer weather, cozy A.M.G. Rabocsiring and top EEDC drivers – the perfect components for a great event. Although there were not that many participants, even the Top 16 appeared to be interesting. Major surprise of the event is Vladimir Marchenko from Ukraine. Vladimir is experienced driver, participated in many drift events and this day he did his best! 1st place in qualification along with applause from Hungarian fans proved that Vladimir is in a very good shape. Only Kristaps Bluss in the final run was able to topple Vladimir. Third place is taken by Ivo Cirulis, who bypassed the small final with Pawel Trela in the Top 4 because the famous Polish drifter had a small accident with the wall during the tandem run with Kristaps.
Next stop for the championship is EEDC Stage 5 in cooperation with Drift Masters GP, which will take place in Karpac, Poland on 13 September.
And the final stop, the world-famou BRNO ring, Czech Republic on 4-5 October.
