Fastest Car In Forza Horizon 5 – Ultimate Top Speed Tune
With this tune, the Hennessey Venom F5 becomes the new fastest car in Forza Horizon 5, breaking the FH5 speed barrier previously held by the Koenigsegg Jesko.
Jump To Section
As Forza Horizon 5 makes its shock (and controversial) leap to PlayStation 5, the race for top-speed supremacy becomes even more intense.
Since its debut in November 2021, FH5 has set the standard in open-world racing, bringing over 900 vehicles. In that time, more than 40 million Xbox and PC players have already been enjoying racing and drifting through Mexico’s landscapes (that’s before before PlayStation gamers join the party!)
With crossplay uniting racers but no cross-save support, PlayStation newcomers face a significant disadvantage against Xbox and PC OGs who’ve had years to perfect their builds. However, there’s good news – you won’t need to spend in-game cash to unlock the fastest car in Forza Horizon 5.
Hold Up… Isn’t The Koenigsegg Jesko The Fastest?
While the Koenigsegg Jesko was once the fastest car in Forza Horizon 5 (and remains a fantastic pick), the Hot Wheels expansion introduced a game-changing newcomer – the Hennessey Venom F5.
When properly tuned (don’t worry – we’ve got you covered), the Venom F5 can clock speeds up to 307 mph (and even faster on the downhills!), outperforming even the mighty Jesko when it comes to straight-line acceleration.
While these bonkers speeds might seem unrealistic, they mirror the real-world hopes of the company as Hennessey prepares for a 300+ mph record attempt with the production F5. Pretty cool, huh?
In this guide, we’ll explain how to transform the (already ridiculously impressive) Venom F5 into the ultimate Forza Horizon 5 speed machine so that you can top the leaderboards and upset your buddies. We’ll provide a tune to cover every adjustment and push the car to its absolute limits.
Whether defending your leaderboard position or playing catch-up as a PlayStation newcomer, this Venom F5 build is your best chance of causing an upset.
It should also stand the test of time, as it seems there are no plans for major DLCs for the game. We somehow doubt the Pike cars in the recent “Nissan Retro Rides” pack will be causing an upset, either!
With ever-increasing rumors of a potential Forza Horizon 6 announcement at Summer Game Fest 2025, it looks likely that FH6 might be arriving in the near future. However, PS5 owners might need to wait a little longer… Again.
In the meantime, we’re confident this Venom F5 tune will provide you with the fastest car in Forza Horizon 5 until then, giving you plenty of time to master Mexico’s highways before the next festival location (which we’re praying to the Horizon gods will be Japan!) is revealed.
How To Get The Hennessey Venom F5 In Forza Horizon 5
As mentioned, the Hennessey Venom F5 overtook the Koenigsegg Jesko for outright top speed in Forza Horizon 5’s lineup when the Hot Wheels DLC was released.
Unfortunately, if you don’t already have it (included with the Premium/Deluxe Editions), you’ll need to purchase the Hot Wheels DLC separately if you’re eager to own the fastest car in the game. However, with the DLC, you’ll be gifted the Venom F5 for free once you complete a few challenges.
However, the Jesko is still capable of 305 MPH (just 2 MPH less), so it might not be worth paying out real-world cash for the Venom F5 if your funds are tight.
It’s also worth noting that while the Venom is the fastest in a straight line, the Jesko often overtakes it in the twisties. You’ll need to prepare for some in-game grinding to afford the Jesko, though.
Unlocking The Hennessey Venom F5
To unlock the Venom F5, you’ll need to progress through the expansion’s ranking system from Rookie to Legend by earning medals in races, stunts, and exploration challenges. It’s pretty brutal to still have to do this when you’ve already paid for the DLC, but the reward is worth it!
You can either watch this video from STEVIO2175, or scroll past where we break it down in text:
To unlock the Venom F5, you’ll need to complete the following:
- Completing all ranks: Rookie > Pro > S1 > S2 > Legend
- Finishing the Hot Wheels Goliath – a six-minute endurance race
- Discovering all 175 roads in the Hot Wheels Park
After discovering every road, the Hennessey Venom F5 will automatically unlock, and it typically takes around 12 to 15 hours of grinding to complete all of these requirements.
Once you’ve unlocked the Venom F5 using the above method, you can purchase additional copies from the Autoshow for 3 million credits if you want more than one.
