Forza Horizon 5 Holiday Update – Drift Wagons And Six-Wheeled Madness

From the gentlemanly Bentley Flying Spur to the bonkers DeBerti C10 Slayer, Horizon 5’s newest additions let fans prove anything can be a drift car.

Forza Horizon 5 continues rolling out another great update with even more drift-ready cars (if you’re prepared to throw a six-wheeler sideways!) over two exciting content updates scheduled around the holiday season.

FH5’s already bonkers car list, which also recently added a selection of JDM offerings, now consists of over 850 vehicles across 129 manufacturers and is about to get even bigger with these six new additions.

They range from a swanky British gentleman’s choice to an epic six-wheeler, with some old-school drift wagons and a modern-day NISMO thrown into the mix.

The updates will be split between December and January, and the first cars will be released in the December update on December 5 (the same day as the CarX Drift Racing 3 release!), and the Deberti C10 Slayer will arrive in January.

Each car will be unlockable through Festival Playlist challenges and point rewards.

Let’s cut straight to the chase:

2024 Nissan Z NISMO

Unlock by completing the “Nissan Eazy” Championship between December 5-12.

2024 nissan z nismo forza horizon 5 holiday update brings drift wagons and six wheeled madness

The spiciest Z to date comes ready to party with 420 horses of twin-turbo goodness.

While the standard Z is already a drift favorite, this NISMO version brings extra attitude and aggression. It’s a perfect addition for those who want their drift car to look as sharp as it handles.

2021 Bentley Flying Spur

Unlock by earning 20 Festival Points between December 5-12.

While it’s not likely to be the first thing that comes to mind when someone says ‘drift car,’ this rather splendidly posh land yacht might seem more at home outside a fancy hotel, making it the perfect candidate for virtual hooning!

Turning this proper gentleman’s chariot into a drift missile feels wonderfully inappropriate – and that’s precisely the point!

2006 Mercedes-Benz E 55 AMG Wagon

Unlock by earning 20 Festival Points between December 12-19.

A supercharged V8 sleeper wagon that’ll smoke most sports cars. The long wheelbase makes it surprisingly controllable when going sideways – perfect for those who like having a lil’ extra booty for those wall taps.

For those who are more into racing, we’re sure you’ll agree that nothing beats the satisfaction of outgunning Horizon 5’s supercars in a family hauler.

2022 BMW M5 CS

Unlock by earning 20 Festival Points between December 19-26.

The most powerful M5 ever built is expected to become one of the most versatile cars in the game. Whether cruising, racing, or sliding, this luxury missile does it all. Plus, there’s something especially satisfying about throwing a fancy super sedan sideways.

2014 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon

Unlock by earning 20 Festival Points between December 26-Jan 2.

America’s answer to the German performance wagons. With a supercharged V8 up front and drive going to the rear, this is another sleeper grocery-getter secretly built for smoking tires.

Deberti Chevrolet C10 Slayer

Unlock by earning 20 Festival Points between Jan 2-9.

Undoubtedly the rarest of the bunch, Deberti’s C10 Slayer, which arrives in January, is an addition many of you may not have heard of.

The wild custom build is pure automotive insanity, transforming a 1965 Chevrolet C10 into a six-wheeled performance monster. It’s basically a Hot Wheels car that has come to life, and that’s exactly why we love it.

Despite having four wheels at the back, it’s powered by a 900-horsepower LSX B15 6.2-liter Chevrolet engine with a 5-liter Whipple supercharger and a distinctive 8-stack fuel injection. This, combined with a few simple upgrades, could quite possibly transform it into Horizon 5’s most exciting drift car to date.

These should keep fans occupied for a while as they wait for the Forza Horizon 6 release!

You can find full details of the update on the official Forza Horizon website.
