DESKTOP: Kearney v. Aasbo In The Wet
As a sport, drifting is often defined by how much smoke one can burn from their rear tires in a sideways slide. A wet track makes the sideways part a lot easier, but seriously negates the drama of puffy white clouds emitting from the car's ass-end. How then to capture the emotion and tension during a battle under rainy conditions? -

EVENT: Formula D Wall, NJ 2013 – Main Competition
The 2013 Formula Drift season has been full of controversy and questionable calls. Road Atlanta was more like a demolition derby, and Palm Beach saw the first legal overtakes in years. Sunny skies and a hungry field of veterans in the top 32 were the recipe for the main course. Read on after the jump to see how it all went down. -

VIDEO: Call Me Maybe
We got tired of making the stereotypical drift video. So, we did some brainstorming and came up with the idea of making a cheesy music video at a Formula Drift event. We chose the infamous song Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen and we began filming. We just chose random FD fans/staff/drivers to lip sync the song and I can say without a doubt that this was the most fun I've ever had shooting a video; it just goes to show that the fun at drift events isn't confined to the track! -

I managed to sneak back home long enough to sit down and finish this video, and it was wonderful to finally get it out of my brain! Make the jump!
