Following the midnight release, fans who purchase TXR during Early Access will receive a bargain limited-time price and access to the full game once complete.

With just one week until the official release of Tokyo Xtreme Racer’s 2025 reboot, TXR developer Genki released another producer letter to answer some questions many fans have been asking.

Let’s take a look at the main takeaways here.

Those looking to purchase Tokyo Xtreme Racer during the game’s Early Access period will get a limited-time price of just $29.99 USD.

The team also confirms, “Everybody that purchases the Early Access Version will be able to upgrade to the full release version at no charge.”

Alongside the pricing, they also announced that the Early Access version will arrive at midnight (PT) on January 23, 2025. Other time zones will be 3 AM PT, 8 AM GMT/UTC, and 9 AM CET.

While the game is unavailable for pre-order, you can Wishlist it on the official Steam page, now updated with a ‘Coming Soon To Early Access’ notification.
